22 kids attended Day Camp. They explored nature in the park, made bird houses and other crafts, learned songs, heard Bible stories and heard about God's love for them and creation. One highlight was a trip on the trolley where they saw baby sea gulls, ate chocolate and heard about the area around the River Walk.

 

We are already making plans for 2009! We hope you and your child can join us.

 

Before camp we said:

We have openings for 30 children---fees are just $5 for the week! Lunch and snacks are provided.

 

Day Camp is an opportunity for children to spend a week singing, playing acting, touching and living the truths about living in God’s world in their own “language’—the active lifestyle of young children who have completed kindergarten through 6th grade! Your children are invited to come and explore with us!

 

A key ingredient to Day Camp is the highly trained, dedicated, and qualified staff who come to our congregation and community for a week. Through games, arts, music, theatre, Bible story time, and lots of plain fun, your children will experience the joy of leaning about God’s love. Our trained staff and volunteers are committed to making this a very special week!
